Donatos Pizza is opening a new store in Virginia Beach! To celebrate the opening, some folks from the best pizza franchise around showed up at the Virginia Beach local morning show, Coast Live, and held a contest to determine which host is the top pizza topper.

PR & Communications Manager at Donatos HQ, Dave Parsons, and Franchise Owner, Jay Patel, had a lot of fun on the show. While Dave spoke to the excitement surrounding the new restaurant, Jay was showing off Donatos signature thin crust, Edge to Edge® pizza by packing over 100 pieces of pepperoni on the pie.

Jay Patel and his partner Ricky Singh opened their first Virginia Beach restaurant in Newport News. Coast Live host, Blain, shared that it was at this location where he first fell in love with Donatos pizza. Jay and Ricky have signed an agreement for three locations but they’re excited to continue growth in other areas of the state with even more restaurants.
